Erend-kel, Temperance Tamara (life, light, mercy – she was Bahamut’s mother).
I am the eldest child (of two – I have a younger brother called Bib) and thus it was expected that I would join the order.
On his deathbed my father revealed to me a horrible secret. He had helped some evil be released by smuggling goods. I vowed to put an end to it and prevent any dishonour coming to the family. I’ve set out with a mind of tracking down the people who did this, who set my father up, to bring them to justice. My brother does not know of this as he feels much more strongly towards clan than family. I should care more about Clan as well, but I don’t and I don’t want father to be remembered as failing. I will fix the wrong done by him and do good where I can. My god and my clan come second to my family, except maybe my brother, who comes below that.
As he passed my father, Ardent, gave me an ugly bronze pentacle with a rats head in the middle. I will hold on to it until my deed is done. Until them I guess I’m walking around with stolen goods.
We were taught a thorough family, clan and general faerûn history and it is my goal to become a worthwhile protector.
My ancestors (Silver Dragons) were rather fond of humans and elves. This trait has followed through the line and it is something I experience. I especially like their pretty, soft, long hair.
My family line is from Abeir. My family currently reside in Elversult, which is a rich community on the south side of the Dragonmere at the junction of many trade routes.
I entered into Cleric hood as was expected of me by my father and family. I believe that my brother will too in the coming year. I am loyal to the dragon god Bahamut. We share a clan (white / silver) and his creed (“Justice and good above all”) rings true for my personal journey.
Bahamut – God of good dragons, wind, wisdom, Justice. Justice and Good above all!
Bahamut is very stern and disapproving of evil. He accepts no excuses for foul deeds. On the other hand, he is very compassionate, and has boundless empathy for the weak and downtrodden. He urges his followers to promote good, but to let people fight their own battles when they can, providing healing, information, or temporary safe refuge rather than fighting alongside those who can fight for themselves.
Bahamut’s own greatest priority is his endless war with his sister Tiamat. He opposes all her schemes, answering them move for move. For a dragon, he is neither vain nor greedy.
